Nuffnang Screening - Killers

Date: 2010-06-03

Thanks Nuffnang again for the movie ticket

Me and William were lucky enough to win two pairs of Killers movie ticket from Nuffnang. So me, HanChin, William and Jooli meet up after work to have a quick dinner at Subway and rush to get our movie ticket
Based on our experience last time (our seats at 2nd row from screen) , we decided to collect the movie ticket at 8pm sharp in order to get a better seat and yeah we did get the second row from the last.

But the unexpected thing happened when we entered the movie hall and found somebody sitting on our seats. They claimed that the movie ticket they collected just now is Free seating but our ticket are numbered. Since the person doesn't want to move away, we've got no choice but to sit in front. Seriously this spoil my mood lor .

So William reported this issue to Nuffnang today the they responded, saying that there were some last minute change of plan by the movie distributor which instructed us to change the seating plan to free seating instead of numbered seating. Well, if they are really forced to do so at such last minute, they should have put some notification outside the cinema hall to avoid any inconvenience lo. I think we are not the only one facing this problem. So the situation of that time a bit out of control because of this.

Anyway, the movie is funny and nice. Although the story plot is just so-so with the quite ridiculous ending, there are quite a lot of funny conversation and actions between Jen ( Katherine Heigl) and Spencer ( Ashton Kutcher),  and also Jen's parent. I would rate 3/5 for this movie.

Killers

Synopsis
Trying to recover from a sudden break-up, Jen Kornfeldt (Katherine Heigl) believes she’ll never fall in love again. But when she reluctantly joins her parents on a trip to the French Riviera, Jen happens to meet the man of her dreams, the dashing, handsome Spencer Aimes (Ashton Kutcher). Three years later, her seemingly impossible wish has come true: she and Spencer are newlyweds living the ideal suburban life – that is, until the morning after Spencer’s 30th birthday when bullets start flying.  Literally.

It turns out Spencer never bothered to tell Jen he was once an international super-spy, and now Jen's perfect world has been turned upside down.   Faced with the fact that her husband is a hit man, Jen is determined to discover what other secrets Spencer might be keeping – all the while trying to dodge bullets, keep up neighborly appearances, manage the in-laws…and work out some major trust issues.
